Fat Lip

Today Slick had to have a couple of fillings done at the dentist. Well a few hours after we got home I noticed that he had a swollen lower lip. I thought that I would take some pics and share with you. So here is my fat lipped boy.

BTW I did call the dentist and it is common for this to happen.

Pumpkin Carvin'

Yesterday the kids had a fun time carving there pumpkins. Well Slick is the only one that actually carved his, Princess and T had me do it for them. Those are some cute kids they must have one hot Mom!!

Don't you just love the way that T smiles?

My Princess

Here is Slick carving his pumpkin. Didn’t he do such an awesome job? That’s my Baby!!

Spider pumpkin for my Spiderman Crazed Boy. Look at the grand carving skills!!

Princess’s Vampire Cat pumpkin. The two little ones have a crazy obsession with Vampires this year.

Slick’s pumpkin. While he was carving it he hurt his pointer finger with the carving tool and after I got a band aid for it, not that he needed it. He told me that he was "never going to carve pumpkins again".

School Pictures are in!!

This is one good lookin’ boy don’t ya think?! T-Man just turned 11 years old this last September. Time has just flown by. I don’t feel old enough to have a Teen ager in just a couple of years. T just started a new school this year he seems to like it; the jury is still out on me. The Small group class that he was in last year got too large so they split it and moved half of them to a brand spankin’ new school. I was upset when I found out how far they were going to bus him. His old school was about three miles form my home and his new one is about nine. I absolutely loved the teacher he had; his new teacher is a newbie. This is her first year as a teacher; she was an aid for one of the small group class before so she dose have some experience in the autistic unit. I have to say that I do like some of the things that she is incorporating, but if T misses out on some of his services that I feel are important then I don’t feel that it is a fair trade. He has been getting speech and OT, but he hasn’t been mainstreamed yet. At parent teacher conference she has informed me that he will be main streamed once the 5th grade classes get everything figured out. I do under stand that this is a new school and it may take time to get every thing in order, but it’s been two months now. How much longer do we have to wait? The longer we wait the further behind he will be. Also I know that he has been in Adaptive P.E. but as far as I can tell they haven’t been working on his goals that we set up at his IEP. I’m going to have to have a talk to the about that one. Sorry that this post has become a little venting session for me, but I needed this. One more thing for me to b!tch about be for I move on. One thing that I also don’t understand is T’s new school is a two story elementary and some smart thinking person decided to put the disabled students on the second floor. Not only is my sweet boy mentally disabled, but he is also physically. He has a 40’ angle twist in both of his tibias which is why he wears orthotics. If you know T at all you know that he is a slow walker and is balance is what it should be. My poor boy has to trek up and down those big set of stair many times a day. My applause goes out to that smart thinker.

Isn’t she the most beautiful Princess that you have ever seen?! Slick and she just started preschool this year and she is doing great. She absolutely loves it. She is so smart and absorbing all the information like crazy. I’m just so impressed with her. That’s my girl!!

Here he is my little guy!! I can’t believe how big he has gotten. This is his first year at preschool and he loves it. Slick is a really shy guy so I decided to have him and Princess in the same class this year in hopes that it will make it easier next year when she moves on to kindergarten.
